Our skilled team of Doctors, Nursing Staff and Dermal Therapists offer a broad range of laser treatments designed to suit everyones needs.

Our Laser Treatments

Laser Hair Removal

At Medical Lasers we have been providing a Laser Hair Removal service since our inception in 1994. At Medical Lasers long term hair reduction can be achieved using the state-of-the-art LightSheer™ diode laser. Laser hair removal technology offers significant advantages over all other treatment options such as plucking, shaving, waxing and depilatory creams as the hair is destroyed at the follicle. This reduces the occurrence of ingrown hairs, skin infection and irritation. Our experienced technicians can discuss your options during your initial consultation.

Skin Rejuvenation

A more youthful, firm and clear skin can be achieved with laser treatments using state-of-the-art elos™ combined-energy technology of Bi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) with either Light or Laser energy. At Medical Lasers we offer eMax™ multiple treatment options suitable for a wide range skin textures and all skin tones.

Skin Rejuvenation blemish treatment, ReFirme™ skin tightening procedure and Matrix IR™ wrinkle reduction procedure are all performed by experienced technicians. The laser treatments are non-surgical procedures that involve little or no down-time.

Medical strength peels improve the surface appearance of the skin and can be a regular treatment between laser treatments. The peels are commonly used as part of our Acne Treatment programs but will restore a youthful smoothness to all skin types

Pigmentation and Tattoo Removal

Pigment Lasers

A number of harmless brown spots are suitable for treatment with these lasers, including freckles and sun spots. It is important that one of our Dermatologists first examines your skin to ensure that the lesions don't represent something more serious such as a skin cancer. No anaesthetic is typically required.

Tattoo Lasers

We can treat tattoos with the latest picosecond laser technology (Cutera 'enlighten') as well as the Nd:YAG laser. Some colours are more responsive than others and multiple treatment sessions are required. Many factors influence the final result and this can be explained at your appointment.

Adelaide Plastic Surgery was the first in Australia to offer the 'enlighten' laser and Dr Armenores was seen in a Channel Nine News segment operating the new laser.

Vascular Lesions

Vascular Laser

These lasers are used to treat red lesion on the skin such as broken blood vessels (telangiectasias), rosacea and birth marks. No anaesthetic is typically required, and depending on what lesions are being treated, side effects such as bruising or swelling settle quickly. The number of sessions required varies and sessions are usually spaced at four to six week intervals.

In some cases, patients can claim a Medicare rebate
